9th International VLBI Technology Workshop (IVTW)
We would like to announce that the 9th International VLBI Technology Workshop (IVTW) will be held October 21–23, 2024. The scope of this technology workshop aims to encompass all areas of VLBI hardware and software development and techniques on frontends, backends, recorders, correlation, space techniques and RFI monitoring, mitigation and other strategies in today’s rapidly changing environment.
This 9th annual workshop will be hosted by MIT Haystack Observatory in Westford, Massachusetts, and will be in-person only. We look forward to seeing everyone again.

Accommodation
The Groton Inn 128 Main St, Groton, MA 01450 rate is $229 per night (plus tax) and can be booked by calling the Inn directly at 978-448-6600 and asking for the MIT October Room Block or by using this special booking link.
The Residence Inn in Westford 7 Lan Dr, Westford, MA 01886 rate is $189 per night (plus tax) and can be booked by calling the Residence Inn at 978-392-1407 and asking for the Haystack rate (note: this is lower than the Groton Inn) at $189 plus tax, or by using this special booking link.
Participants are requested to make their own reservations. Rooms will be released from the block after September 5; please make your reservations before then. A credit card is required to guarantee your room. At the time of booking, a credit card will be required to secure the dates. One night’s room rate or 50% of your total stay will be charged to your credit card upon booking. Deposits are non-refundable when cancellation occurs 7 or fewer days prior to arrival.
